The China Welding Association Youth Committee work and academic exchange meeting was held in Shanghai

The work and academic exchange meeting of the China Welding Society Youth Committee was held on December 9, 2017 at the Jianguo Hotel in Shanghai.

The meeting will be conducted in accordance with the two units of academic exchange and work meeting. The morning meeting was presided over by Prof. Chen Shujun and Professor Li Zhuguo. He was heard by Xue Gang, a researcher at the 72nd Five-Year Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, and Liu Xia, a senior engineer at Shanghai Electric Power Station Equipment Co., Ltd., and Tao Jungao, Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Manufacturing Engineering. Professor, Zhang Hua (female) professor of Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, Associate Professor Liu Lei of Tsinghua University, Chen Bo Gaogong of China Aerospace Materials Research Institute, and Zhang Hua (male) of Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd., seven academic reports. The report introduces the research progress of several young experts in the research field and related fields. The content is rich and fully reflects the purpose of the Youth Development Platform for Youth Affairs.

In the afternoon, the working committee meeting of the Standing Committee of the Youth League was held, chaired by Professor Li Xiaoyan, Honorary Director, and Chairman Chen Qiang attended the meeting. The meeting heard the work report of Director Chen Shujun from 2016 to 2017: from optimizing the organizational structure and development committee to building an academic platform and expanding business cooperation, the Youth Commission has done a lot of solid work in 2016 and achieved outstanding results. The meeting reviewed and approved the "Regulations on the Work of the Youth Work Committee (Revised Draft)", reviewed and approved the list of candidates for the Standing Committee, announced the announcement of the election method, and produced five standing committee members through the election of the difference election. The meeting approved the appointment of the new director, Professor Li Zhuguo, as the candidate: Professor Li Mingyu from Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen). Director Li Zhuguo introduced the work plan of the 2018 Youth Committee and recommended that the China Welding Society conduct the selection of outstanding doctoral thesis. Professor Li Zhuuo proposed to set up five special working groups of the Youth Commission to carry out specific work in five aspects: international exchange, domestic exchange, information publicity, business liaison, and basic research.
